The order process begins with casual conversation from which we establish colors, a sense of what you envision, setting (formal, informal, outdoor, etc.) and an overall feel for what you expect. This is accomplished through appointment, telephone or email. We then will develop a selection of designs for you to view. From there you are encouraged to compare the different design elements, interchange components, and customize the design to culminate in your "perfect" expression of individuality.
If you are planning your wedding and considering a DK Puttyroot design we encourage you to initiate the process as early as possible. Due to the time and work involved, we are limited on the number of orders we can accept. We do make every effort to accommodate our customers and will work with you in every way possible to enable you to access this unique opportunity.

Pricing is competitive considering the individualized, labor intensive process. Due to the nature of our product, pricing is assigned and provided at the time of your selection.

Not all wedding invitations have to be designed around our handmade paper. We have access to many fine papers and imported handmades including Fabriano, Amalfi, Arpa, G Lalo and others. If you are interested in a more traditional paper, but would still like the ability to have a custom design, this may be of interest to you.
